The knives are great, very sharp, but you are getting what’s advertised, not a miraculous deal, so make sure you read everything. You’re not getting actual Damascus for this price, it’s etched and the Seller states that. The knives are extremely sharp and are well balanced; however, like most stainless, you can’t be lazy with them. For those complaining about that, stainless rusts...clean them by hand and dry them and you’ll not have any problems. Oxidization may eventually get to them, but I’d suggest you research creating a patina with coffee and/or another acid, looks nice and is functional. Sharpen monthly and tune them, and you’ll be very happy with them. I bought a second set as a gift for my kid when he goes to college next year.

I have purchased the 8 knife set and received it about 1 month ago. I put the knives to the test this weekend as I took the travel case and knives to my friends house about 200 miles away from my home. We are always challenging each other and this week was no different. We had a cook-off and I looked so good cutting and chopping with my new set of knives, he owns a set that was bought at “Sur le table” - I don’t know if I spelled that correctly. Anyway he wants to purchase a set of these to replace the knives he bought for over $800.00 at the outlet store. This is a good solid product and lives up to the advertisement I recommend this product if you are not sure what to buy - this is the knife set to have...... YUP! 5 STARS for sure.

So far so good for the price, knives look nice and have good balance. They have to be used for a while and then sharpened to see how long they can last.
Just to be absolutely clear in case if anyone has this question - as stated in the description, the "Damascus pattern" is laser cut image. It is not the way knives were forged.

The knives are a dream. As music. At each section delight the heart. It makes insanity fun with you to cut. If you finger across the cutting driving, senses the acerbity, but you cut real hammer. Although I feel have that some pressure need to through the surface, squeeze you not by and glide then formally by the being. The tamaten discs are so thin that man the pattern on the knives translucent looks. I 've never seen that a knife pastry so exact cuts. No from bröseln, no crumbs. You see a close and clean cut z.b. In fresh muffin, see pictures. I'm real excited. I hope the knife stick long so sharp.
